Hello! My name is Zach Wampler, and I am a recent graduate of Vanderbilt University originally from North Carolina. My professional and research interests lie at the intersection of climate change, public health, and the built environment. Prior to CivicSpark, I worked on extreme heat community education for the Nashville Mayor’s Office and completed a thesis on the relationship between vulnerability to heat and residential development processes in Nashville. I’m looking forward to learning more about local governance, environmental policy processes, and exploring the California wilderness!
