Fellow Bio

Tay Kavieff (they/them) is a recent graduate from UC Berkeley with a BS in Environmental Science. With a strong focus on environmental justice, Tay conducted research during their time in undergrad on eco anxiety and intersectional privilege. Tay is passionate about realizing social and environmental change through policy and community based organizing and intends to delve into the broad field of environmental law. This year, Tay will be working with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) in San Francisco with the Access(ibility), Culture, and Racial Equity (ACRE) team in order to employ equitable development and outreach practices. Additionally, in their free time, they enjoy writing music, making art, and exploring new hikes with friends.
