Fellow Bio

Ryan Lamkin is a first-generation, recent graduate of the Master of Sustainability Leadership program at Arizona State University. Ryan’s passion for sustainability grew at Cal State LA where he graduated with a B.S. in Natural Science and served as Associated Students’ Environmental Affairs Commissioner for two years. After serving as a Climate Action Corps fellow at California State University, Dominguez Hills where he assisted with improving scope 3 emissions data quality as well as completing his thesis on the upcoming SEC climate disclosure rules, Ryan realized his niche in sustainability lied within the data. Ryan is excited to aid the City of Encinitas with their climate progress reporting efforts for his personal development and to be able to connect with the community on topics of sustainability. When not serving with CivicSpark, Ryan is an assistant instructor at Arizona State University for an environmental science course, and enjoys going to museums, reading, and traveling to various cities.
