Fellow Bio

Mariam recently graduated with a BA in Environmental Studies and minors in Professional Writing and Poverty, Inequality & Social Justice from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is fascinated by the interconnected relations between human behavior and the environment surrounding climate resiliency and sustainability. This year she is excited to join the County of Santa Clara to create a Climate Action Plan. She is looking forward to meeting people professionally and within the field to advance climate goals that will create a difference in the collective lives of the community.
