Fellow Bio

Liam graduated with a B.A. in International Affairs and a minor in Asian Studies from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. His cross-cultural studies and love for nature have sparked a deep interest in the ways in which various cultures interact with nature. Now back in his hometown of San Diego, he is eager to understand how communities develop climate resilience through transportation, housing, green infrastructure, and environmental justice policies among others. He is excited to gain experience as a Fellow helping to implement the City of La Mesa’s Climate Action Plan. In his free time, Liam enjoys hiking, using iNaturalist, exploring cities, gardening, and enjoying food from all around the world.
