As an interdisciplinary educator, researcher, and engagement facilitator, Kyle is passionate about opening up perspectives on how we co-create and reform our urban landscapes. Kyle’s studies include a BA in Psychology with minors in Music and History, Cum Laude, from the University of Washington, as well as education in Cities, Regions, Planning from York University. Kyle has also spent time teaching in Spain, meanwhile learning from the diverse and stimulating urban and rural forms present throughout the country. He plans to pursue further education and a career in the field of planning, ideally spanning academia and consulting to advance best practices in community infrastructure development centering public and shared spaces. Kyle’s interests also include youth and aging urban populations, queer and trans studies, urban densification, suburban reformation, rewilding, urban political ecology, and community organization, especially in territorialized contexts.
