Fellow Bio
Gabriel is a born and raised Bay Area local with a background working in environmental justice both at the local and non-profit level. During his time at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, he became very interested in habitat and adaptive management, CEQA, and social justice opportunities related to equal access to food for all. Gabriel’s future goals include achieving his Masters Degree at UC Berkeley, continuing to advocate for EBT services as a means to provide food to all college students, and engaging in projects that have real tangible impacts on our Bay Area community. As a fellow for CivicSpark, Gabriel is most excited for the countless opportunities to connect with other fellows across the Bay and to engage in meaningful work with local governments.
