CivicSpark remains operational in light of recent cuts to some (but not all) of our AmeriCorps funding. We will proceed with the rest of the fellowship year and with recruiting for 25-26, potentially under a non-AmeriCorps model. Deadlines have been extended for next year to allow us more time to consider our options for moving forward. Stephanie is a second year Fellow with the City of Goleta. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Environmental Studies and has professional experience in sales and insurance. Stephanie is looking forward to applying her professional skills to her passions of sustainability and environmentalism.
