Fellow Bio:
Olya is a recent graduate from the University of California, Davis who received a degree in Political Science – Public Service with two minors in (1) Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning and (2) Russian Language and Literature. On campus, Olya was a Learning Assistant for a Constitutional Law course, served as President of the Zero Waste and Sustainability Club, and was an active member on the UC Davis Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team. Professionally, Olya coordinated two community engagement projects as a Water Policy Fellow, supporting lead service line removal in four municipalities over the last two years. She has a background and interest in environmental policy, especially where it pertains to water quality and equity. Olya is eager to work with the Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District and the broader CivicSpark cohort to continue using skills in policy research, project management, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
