Fellow Bio:
Yasamin is a recent graduate of UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Development. She is passionate of working with under-resourced communities because she grew up in a similar community and wants to give back to many more families to allow them to succeed. She believes CivicSpark will help her achieve her goal of giving back to more communities besides her own and continue to learn more about the different needs each community want. She is very excited to work with the City of Alameda and learn how she can navigate and implement community development. In addition with working with communities, her interests include watching documentaries, baking, and enjoying nature.
