CivicSpark remains operational in light of recent cuts to some (but not all) of our AmeriCorps funding. We will proceed with the rest of the fellowship year and with recruiting for 25-26, potentially under a non-AmeriCorps model. Deadlines have been extended for next year to allow us more time to consider our options for moving forward. Gretchen is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Environmental Studies and Media Studies. She grew up in Arlington, VA before moving to Los Angeles for school. She is looking forward to jumpstarting her career in environmentalism and serving in the Greater Sacramento region.
