Fellow Bio:

Corrina Farho is a May 2022 graduate from Colorado State University with a dual major in Political Science (concentration in Environmental Politics and Policy) and International Studies (concentration in the Middle East and North Africa). She is embarking on a CivcSpark journey with the University of Gonzaga, the City of Spokane, and the Washington State Department of Health. In this Beat the Heat project with Gonzaga’s Center for Climate, Society, and the Environment, Corrina will be conducting qualitative research regarding perceptions around heat, tree planting, and developing heat mitigation plans with a particular focus on overburdened communities. She is excited to be exposed to climate mitigation strategies through a unique state, local, and educational-institution partnership.

When Corrina’s mind is not occupied with climate and justice topics, she enjoys spending time camping, skiing, cooking, taking photos, and going on walks. She is greatly looking forward to the 2022/2023 CivicSpark Service Year
