Fellow Bio:
Hailing from Missoula, Montana, Billy traveled to California in 2017 to pursue a bachelors degree in Environmental Analysis from Pomona College. Despite initially declaring a math degree at Pomona, after interning for Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator in 2018, he pivoted his work towards mapping, urban design, and urban planning. Billy has worked on a diversity of projects including a site analysis of Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant, a noise mapping video essay, and an emergency shelter city compliance map with OASIS Health Equity Mapping Lab. He is excited for the opportunity to help SFMTC look for solutions to California’s housing crisis. In addition to his passions for transit oriented development and urban design, Billy loves live music, dance, and hiking.
