Angus is a recent Bowdoin College graduate with a degree in Environmental Studies and Earth and Oceanographic Science. He grew up in the suburbs of New York City but spent his summers on wilderness canoe trips all over Eastern Canada. Attending a small college in Maine allowed him to explore his academic and recreational interests, reinforcing in him a passion for climate work and the outdoors. During his time at Bowdoin, he enjoyed carrying out independent research into oceanographic modeling, climate activism, and power sector decarbonization, while he spent his free time surfing, climbing, skiing, and whitewater paddling. He looks forward to the opportunity to help improve Valley Water’s water supply model to better account for various future climate scenarios, while also building meaningful and productive relationships with the Valley Water team.
