Fellow Bio:
Kate Lyons is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University in 2020. At Temple University, Kate participated in community sustainability initiatives that inspired her to work in community climate resilience. Upon graduation, Kate was energy analyst with an engineering firm helping schools, municipalities, and businesses reduce their energy consumption and switch to renewable energy. As a fellow with CivicSpark, she is looking forward to learning more about the field of regional planning while contributing to the resilience projects outlined in Plan Bay Area 2050.
