As a CivicSpark Climate Fellow from 2019-20, Vanessa Shin immensely enjoyed her service year with the City of Cupertino’s Sustainability Division. During her fellowship, she supported the implementation of Cupertino’s Climate Action Plan through community outreach and utility data management. She now works at Peninsula Clean Energy where she aspires to connect residents with the benefits of clean energy and build relationships with trusted messengers in the community.
