Ryan Hirano is a Torrance, California native and a proud Anteater from UC Irvine. Ryan was a CivicSpark Water Fellow in the 2017-2018 service year, serving with the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority. Ryan participated in the Santa Ana River Watershed’s Integrated Regional Water Management (IRWM) planning, helping to draft portions of the One Water, One Watershed plan and supporting and managing projects in the Disadvantaged Communities Involvement Program for the region. Ryan is a diehard Dodgers and Lakers fan, a film aficionado, and a lover of beaches.
