Marlene Rojas is a passionate advocate for community empowerment and social equity. She currently serves as a Program Implementation Coordinator with CivicSpark. With a background in program management and public service, she is an AmeriCorps alumna and has experience in the nonprofit, education, and human rights sectors. Marlene has fostered partnerships and advanced diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies to create impactful community initiatives.
In addition to her professional roles, Marlene is an active volunteer as a Spanish translator and interpreter, providing language access for immigrant communities and various organizations.
Marlene holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language Education and a Master’s Degree in Sociology from Mexico. Drawing on her cross-cultural perspective, she is committed to empowering diverse communities through collaboration and advocacy.
Marlene enjoys live music, reading Latin American writers, cooking, and exploring new cuisines in CA.
