Jenny Woods is a Project Manager at the Local Government Commission (LGC). Her work focuses on assisting local governments to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions. Jenny’s current projects include work on the Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative, the Resilient Sacramento Collaborative, and is also in charge of the LGC’s social media efforts. Jenny will be acting as the Sacramento Regional Supervisor for CivicSpark, and will lead member training.
Jenny has worked at the LGC since 2011. Before coming to the Local Government Commission, Jenny worked at the U.S. EPA’s Office of Sustainable Communities and the State of California’s Strategic Growth Council. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Urban Studies and Planning from the University of California, San Diego.
