Rachel Dickinson is the Project Coordinator for the Governor’s Initiative program, CivicSpark, which provides capacity building support for local governments throughout California to address resilience issues.
Before joining LGC, Rachel served one term as an AmeriCorps Youth Mentor at the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership in Rancho Cordova, California. She then worked as staff at the nonprofit in several programs, including Youth Services, Effective Parenting, and Home Visitation. As an undergraduate, Rachel went to the University of California, Davis, where she received her BA in Communication and a minor in the University Writing Program.
