Mitchelle De Leon is an environmental strategy consultant at California Environmental Associates (CEA). At CEA, he works with businesses and nonprofits to create large-scale impacts on a wide array of environmental challenges through in-depth research and analysis, strategic planning, regulatory and legislative monitoring and analysis, organizational development, and program design and evaluation. His clients include the Klamath River Renewal Corporation and the Environmental Defense Fund.
Prior to joining CEA, Mitchelle served as a CivicSpark AmeriCorps Fellow in Fresno, CA. As a Fellow, he supported the launch of the Water-Energy Communication Network San Joaquin Valley, trained public agency employees and elected officials on compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, and provided technical assistance on zero-emission transportation pilot projects.
Mitchelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with an emphasis in Finance from California State University, Bakersfield.
