Remote or On-Site Placement

Hybrid – Fridays will be remote for the fellow.

Service Needs & Plans

The fellow will serve the City of Irvine and its Environmental Programs Division. The projects will include implementation of the City’s Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, organic waste recycling policy, development of zero waste and decarbonization policies.

Project Description

The fellow will support the City of Irvine’s climate initiatives, including:
– Development of the City’s Climate Action & Adaptation Plan
– Support for the City’s clean energy and decarbonization programs
– Supporting implementation of the organic waste recycling
– Assistance with developing new climate policies to reach the City’s climate goals

Desired Skills

The fellow should be adept at policy research and community engagement.
