Organization & Workplace HighlightsThe City of Chino Hills employs a diverse work force of empowered employees. We work hard to provide equal benefits to our residents, even though the different funding sources make that a challenge. As a relatively young City, we require more creative strategies to achieve a high level of operational improvement. This will create opportunities to participate in projects that are “outside the box” of conventional energy programs.
Community HighlightsThe City of Chino Hills is a diverse, affluent bedroom community. However, our tax revenue is much lower than comparable cities. This dynamic creates many challenges to secure funding and implement projects as many grants and incentives are not made available to our demographic. We must take creative and long term approaches to achieve the same outcomes that would be made easier with State and Federal subsidies.
