Annabel was raised in Pennsylvania and moved to California to serve as a CivicSpark Fellow in the 2017-2018 cohort. After her time as a Fellow, Annabel continued working with the Ventura County Regional Energy Alliance where she’s focused on developing strategies that help the region transition to a clean energy future. She graduated from Penn State with a degree in Anthropology and Sustainability Leadership and remains interested in how humans interact with their environment. Annabel’s passionate about helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through solutions that promote equity, community resilience and environmental healing. As an Alumni Board Member and Regional Point of Contact for the Central Coast, she hopes to support current Fellows in their work and strengthen the CivicSpark network.
